This might sound like an odd one, but the basic idea behind this tip is you want to make sure both parties feel as comfortable as possible with the prenup parameters. If you have the same lawyer, that may be difficult to accomplish and will invalidate your prenup.

The goal should be to have an agreement that's reasonable, fair and enforceable to both parties.
